The RESTORE SDK offers an adaptive audio cleanup algorithm, which is available for PC, Mac, Linux, and mobile devices. It cleans audio by intelligently removing unwanted background noise and clicks. The denoiser can reduce both stationary and non-stationary noise in audio and speech signals, without the need for a pre-calculated noise fingerprint.
It can be used to enhance the sound quality of digitized analog recordings (e.g. from vinyl, shellac discs, analog audiotapes, or noisy recordings), or to remove unwanted background noise from microphone recordings (e.g. wind, rain, background chatter).
RESTORE’s dedicated de-clicking algorithm is finely-tuned to remove click sounds, without affecting transients from musical material or the intelligibility of dialogue. Both algorithms can work adaptively, meaning they can work without user interaction and are capable of real-time processing.
Improvements in Version 1.2 Include:
- Redesigned denoising algorithm
- Increased transparency at high denoising levels, especially with vocals
- Reduced spectral artifacts
